Factors that promote National Unity

Some of the factors that promote national unity are:

1. National holidays - these are days when great events are celebrated. They include, Madaraka Day celebrated on 1stJune, Mashujaa Day celebrated on 21st October, Jamhuri on 12th December.

2. National symbols - these include the coat of arms, the national flag, the national anthem and public seal.

3. National languages -the use of Kiswahili and English brings people of different communities together.
