The small domestic animals should be fed with adequate and nutritious feeds daily.
They should also be provided with clean water to drink.
Drinking equipment should be cleaned daily before putting fresh drink. This prevents contamination that can lead to diseases in animals.
Places where animals stay should be cleaned regularly and disinfected to ensure they do not get parasites and diseases.
The tools and equipment used in cleaning the animal houses and watering equipment should also be cleaned.
To reduce overcrowding, the excess animals can be sold so as to earn some income. Some of the animals such as chicken and rabbits can also be eaten.
If the animals get sick, they should be treated immediately by veterinarian or an animal health specialist.
